I had to question the seller I purchased this tuber from. Susan is usually much more orange. Late season, she did finally throw me some orange, however, for the most part she was this deeper, yellow-orange. My temps in zone 5a are very cool at night; this could affect the coloring of the varieties. Susan grew to 5' and her blooms were around 5" for the most part. Can I guarantee this as Sandia Susan....?  No. I'm trusting the seller sold me the correct variety. Regardless of the name, this dahlia is a super gorgeous waterlily.
