I won't spam you. This will be mainly announcements of tubers sales.
COMBINED SHIPPING AND SHIPPING:
You must select (from drop down arrow) which shipping you want. Pickup is for LOCALS only. If you need your order shipped and you select PICKUP, you will not be getting your order unless you contact me and pay for shipping.
Shipping is only within the continental United States, and Alaska. All packages are shipped through USPS through Ground Advantage or Priority. Alaska will be shipped Priority FLAT rate. Whooboy.....I think I've figured out COMBINED SHIPPING. You pay for the first order and all the rest of your orders are FREE shipping (after you pay for the first one). For Ground Advantage, I will most likely use recycled boxes and reuse packing materials.
***All your orders have to be in the system by April 1st cut-off.*** But check with me! If your order has not been packed &/or shipped yet & you want to order more, I can most likely accommodate! You are welcome to order more after that if stock is available, but after the cut-off, you will pay for shipping again.
I ship each individual tuber in a labeled baggie with vermiculite (might be a little peat moss mixed in). No soil. Packed baggies are then cushioned in the packing box with a variety of recycled/upcycled materials that may include polyfill fiber (my preference), Styrofoam peanuts, Styrofoam sheets, shredded paper, etc. Being sensitive to smells, I will not use any aromatic materials or cedar/pine wood chips.
SHIPPING TIMES:
Dahlia tubers begin shipping in mid-April to warmer states first. All tuber orders will be shipped by end of April/early May in the most cost effective, expedient way. If you believe you need a heat pack even in that time-frame, please make sure to select that option. The heat pack option does cost; I will also insulate the tubers as I pack them.
I will begin shipping mid-April to California, Florida, and Hawaii first and then southern states by the end of April and followed with the rest. Please remember I am in South Dakota (upper Midwest), zone 5a. Our nighttime temps in April still reach freezing at times. We can also still get snowstorms/blizzards in April. That being said, if we experience milder, warmer temps, I will mail out earlier if possible.
EARLY SHIPPING:
So sorry, but I cannot do that this year. We will see how this all goes. Perhaps next year!
YOUR INSPECTION:
Upon arrival, please inspect your tubers. If you have any concerns, please contact us within 3 days of receipt. Please use email only, with clear, in-focus photos. If you receive a tuber that you believe is damaged, nonviable, or incorrect specific to your order, please email within 3 days of receipt.

Refunds are issued at our discretion.
After 3 days, the buyer assumes full responsibility. At this point, the success of growing is in your hands, not mine. You can plant, or repack for further storage until it is time to plant.
I am not liable for packages left at your delivery address and not opened and inspected.
LOCAL PICK UP: Only choose this if you are LOCAL. Please reach out to me to arrange a place of pickup and schedule. Pick-ups will be in either Spearfish or Sturgis, Lead/Deadwood, or possibly Rapid City. Shooting for mid-April. You will have to come to the designated pick-up spot; this is not home delivery. I do not do tours of my garden/growing areas.
