Many times you will see Robann Creamsicle with split petals. This is called fimbriation. In my growing zone of 5a, fimbriation rarely occurs. If it does, it'll be in the hottest temps of summer, which is usually late July to late August. Our nights are cool though, so it is not consistently hot. Regardless of fimbriation, the white-tipped meeting the orangey goodness is visually appealing to me. I will grow her in a sunnier place this next year to see if that affects her coloring and fimbriation. On the short side at 3', her blooms were almost 5".
